About

Radiant Festival Guide is for people who want to enjoy festivals without turning the day into a race through every listing. We cover planning, programs, places, rituals, and keepsakes, with an eye for choices that are thoughtful, resourceful, and easy to adapt.

What we cover

Our subjects include choosing a manageable schedule, reading a program with purpose, making familiar belongings work for an outing, and finding ways to remember what stood out. We are interested in the whole festival experience, including the pauses and shared spaces around the performances.

Who it is for

Our readers may be heading to a large event, a small gathering, or a festival they have never visited before. We aim to offer ideas that can be adjusted to different budgets, levels of experience, and kinds of programs, without assuming access to special equipment or insider knowledge.

How we approach it

We favor clear explanations and choices readers can make for themselves. We distinguish general suggestions from information that depends on a particular event, and we do not treat a packed itinerary or new purchases as the measure of a good day.
